Armed Forces Warn of Consequences for Ships Violating Ban on Reaching Occupied Palestinian Ports

News - Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces have issued a stern warning regarding the fate of ships violating the ban on reaching occupied Palestinian ports.

Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e, spokesman for the Armed Forces, disclosed on the X platform (formerly known as Twitter) that ships targeted over the past 72 hours for breaching this ban are facing severe consequences, including sinking.

In his series of tweets, Sare'e specified that the ship Verbena is sinking in the Gulf of Aden after being hit by multiple missiles. Additionally, the ship Tutor has been targeted by an unmanned boat, ballistic missiles, and drones, and is anticipated to sink within the coming hours.

These military operations, according to Sare'e, are a demonstration of support for the mujahedeen in Gaza and all free people of Palestine, particularly timed for the celebration of Eid al-Adha. He emphasized the Yemeni Armed Forces' warning to all companies about the repercussions of engaging with the Zionist enemy and sending their ships to the occupied Palestinian ports, as such actions will result in being targeted in the Yemeni operational areas, in line with previous statements.

Sare'e reaffirmed that the Yemeni Armed Forces are acting under the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik, to expand operations and enhance military capabilities in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza. The support operations will persist until the aggression ceases and the siege on Gaza is lifted.

On Wednesday, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced a unique anti-Israeli military operation targeting a ship that violated the port ban in occupied Palestine. They also conducted a joint operation with Iraqi resistance forces, striking targets in Haifa and Ashdod in the occupied Palestinian territories.

In a televised statement, Armed Forces spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e explained that the Naval Forces, Rocketry Forces, and Air Forces targeted a ship, identified as Tutor, in the Red Sea.

Yemenis have openly declared their support for Palestine's struggle against Zionist occupation since the regime launched a devastating war on Gaza on October 7, following the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm by Palestinian resistance movements.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have declared that they will not cease retaliatory strikes. The maritime attacks have compelled major shipping and oil companies to suspend their voyages to the ports of the Zionist enemy.
