News - Yemen: Yemen's Ministry of Human Rights expressed its condemnation of the continued US-British aggression against Yemen, as well as the Zionist aggression in the Gaza Strip.

In a statement released on Saturday, the Ministry said that the ongoing US-British bombing of Yemen, and their support for the war crimes and genocide committed by the Zionist entity in Gaza and Rafah, represent the greatest violations of UN charters and principles. 

"This leads to further escalation, through which America seeks to drag the region into more turmoil and instability, threatening international peace and security," it added.

The Ministry clarified that America proves it is the foremost sponsor of terrorism in the world, violating international laws, regulations, and human rights. It commits massacres against humanity, continues to engage in bullying and criminal activities, breaches international treaties and charters, and suppresses free speech even within its own territory.

The Ministry pointed out that the weak performance of the UN, its subordination to American decisions, and the undermining of any humanitarian role have allowed America and the Zionist entity to persist in squandering and violating rights, breaching international humanitarian law, and agreements that protect civilians.

The statement reaffirmed the legitimacy of the actions taken by Yemen's leadership and people, along with the free people of the nation and the world, in supporting the Palestinian people. It emphasized the necessity of using all possible means to stop the genocide and suffocating siege against the women and children of Gaza.

The Ministry also called on the people of the nation to take a decisive stance against the American aggression that violates the sovereignty of Arab countries.

The US-British aggressive airstrikes on Yemen continue in clear violation of Yemeni sovereignty, as an attempt to deter Yemen from its decision to prevent Israeli ships from passing through the Red Sea in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, who are facing a genocidal war by the savage Zionist entity.

Yemenis have openly declared their support for Palestine's struggle against Zionist occupation since the regime launched a devastating war on Gaza on October 7, following the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm by Palestinian resistance movements.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have declared that they will not cease retaliatory strikes. The maritime attacks have compelled major shipping and oil companies to suspend their voyages to the ports of the Zionist enemy.
