Highlights of Aggression on July 2:
2015: 18 Casualties in Sana'a
Airstrikes on Al-Nahda neighborhood in Sana'a resulted in eight martyrs and 10 injured. The attacks destroyed homes, caused panic, and forced displacement. Rescuers spent hours retrieving bodies, amidst continuous smoke and destruction. A father desperately searched for his children among the rubble.
2015: Infrastructure Destruction in Sana'a
The telecommunications branch in Wadi Dhahr, Hamdan district, was targeted for the third time, resulting in its total destruction. The attacks damaged nearby homes and farms, causing fear and displacement among residents.
2015: 11 Casualties in Sa'adah
Airstrikes on Al-Talh area in Sahar district resulted in five martyrs and six injured. The attacks destroyed homes, caused panic, and forced displacement. The continuous airstrikes and explosions left families homeless, seeking safety in nearby villages and mountains.
These crimes highlight the ongoing war against Yemen, causing immense suffering and destruction, with little response from the international community.
2015: 3 Airstrikes on the Home of the Military Police Commander in Sa'adah
US-Saudi coalition warplanes targeted the home of the military police commander, General Amin Al-Humairi, and nearby homes in the Al-Dhuhari neighborhood with three airstrikes. These attacks injured 10 people, destroyed homes, and damaged surrounding properties, causing widespread fear and panic among residents and prompting mass displacement.
In the aftermath, a toddler, separated from her mother during the attack, was found bleeding. Her tragic image captured the horror of the assault. General Al-Humairi, injured along with his family, defiantly declared, "You may target our homes, but we will remain strong with the power of Allah. We will not be subdued."
Hodeidah, July 2, 2018:
US-Saudi coalition warplanes attacked a school, an institute, and homes in the cities of Zabid and Al-Tuhayat. These attacks resulted in three deaths and 11 injuries, destroying several homes and properties, and causing widespread fear and renewed displacement.
The aftermath was filled with scenes of bloodshed, destruction, and panic. Injured civilians filled hospital emergency rooms, their cries of pain mingling with the sorrow of those who had lost loved ones. One victim, a displaced person seeking refuge at a school, became a tragic casualty of the ongoing aggression.
Hodeidah, July 2, 2019:
UAE-US-Saudi coalition mercenaries shelled three homes in the residential area of 7-Yolio with artillery, causing destruction, fear, and more displacement. Families, including women and children, fled their homes in the dead of night, seeking safety from the relentless bombardment.
The relentless attacks since the Stockholm Agreement, which aimed to cease hostilities under UN supervision, have continued to inflict suffering on the residents of Hodeidah, highlighting the ongoing violations and the desperate plight of those caught in the crossfire.
