Sayyed Abdulmalik Warns Saudi Regime Over 'Insane' Economic Measures, Vows Reciprocal Response

News - Yemen: The Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, warned the Saudi regime against the dangers of continuing its "insane" actions aimed at starving and economically harming the Yemeni people. He emphasized that Yemen will respond to every Saudi move with a corresponding one.

In his speech on Sunday marking the new Hijri year, Sayyed Abdulmalik sent a warning to the Saudi regime, stating, "We will respond in kind: banks with banks, Riyadh airport with Sana'a airport, and ports with ports," highlighting that the US "continues its attempts to entangle the Saudi regime after its military failure in Yemen."

He indicated that "the US has sent us messages that it will push the Saudi regime towards aggressive steps."

He highlighted that the US focuses significantly on "the economic field because its damage affects everyone," accusing the Saudi regime of committing "an insane and foolish step" by transferring banks from Sana'a.

The leader stated that "no one in the world thinks in this way," and that the Americans "know the negative impact of the bank transfer on the living conditions of the Yemeni people, their currency, and prices in the country."

He pointed out that the Saudi regime took this step "in service of Israel and in obedience to America."

The leader revealed that Sana'a "provided advice and warnings through all mediators for the Saudis to back down from this foolish step, but they are still procrastinating."

He added that the Saudis "after transferring the banks, headed towards disrupting Sana'a airport and stopping flights, despite their limited and narrow margins."

He continued, saying: "The inciting statements from the Israeli, American, and British [figures] for the Saudis continued, with their demand to close the port."

Sayyed Abdulmalik explained that "the American wants to entangle the Saudi in a comprehensive war, to bring the situation with us back to what it was at the peak of the escalation."

He stressed that the Saudi has no cause, nor any justification for its aggressive actions against Yemen, except to serve the Israeli.

"It was not enough for them to mobilize mercenaries and agents to fight their own people, so they moved towards crazy and foolish steps," he added. "We will not stand idly by in the face of the Saudi regime's crazy steps, nor will we watch our people starve and their economic situation collapse."

He emphasized that "our preoccupation with the direct battle to support Gaza does not mean that we will not be able to do something about the Saudi regime's crazy steps."

Sayyed Abdulmalik addressed the Saudi regime, saying: "Whoever thinks he can exterminate our people with hunger, disease, epidemics, and severe siege is mistaken."

He affirmed that Yemen will consider what we will do in confronting the aggression and facing any steps within the framework of confrontation with US.

Sayyed Abdulmalik directed a message to the Saudi regime, in which he said: "The Saudi regime must realize that it is impossible to remain silent on its foolish and absurd steps, and that it must desist from its erroneous course."

Elsewhere in his speech, Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi touched on the issue of prisoners, stressing that Sana'a made an effort and was keen to succeed in the rounds of dialogue in Oman regarding prisoners.

The Leader accused the coalition of not wanting "to take a step that would anger the Israelis", considering that "the intransigence in Oman round has no explanation or justification other than solidarity with the Americans and the Israelis."

He stressed that Sana'a "will remain in a continuous effort to reach a prisoner exchange deal, and there must be a result in the end."
