Indicators of Saudi Stubbornness: Yemenis Eager for Confrontation!

Yemen: It appears that events are heading towards further escalation with the Saudi regime, which continues to refuse a solution and incline towards peace with Yemen. Just minutes after Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi finished his historic speech on the occasion of the new Hijri year, where he offered advice and warnings to the Saudi regime against getting involved with the Americans against Yemen, Saudi tools from Yemeni and Saudi activists, along with electronic bots, launched a fierce campaign targeting this speech. They used mocking phrases, dismissing the advice with scorn and ridicule, a clear indication that the Saudi regime is not serious about engaging with Sayyed Abdulmalik’s speech.

It was noticeable how the activists and media personnel affiliated with Islah Party and other parties loyal to the Saudi regime rushed to defend it. They attempted to divert the message of Sayyed Abdumalik’s speech, spreading misinformation and lies, polishing Saudi Arabia’s image, and downplaying the Leader’s warnings and threats. This suggests that the Saudi regime has mobilized all its tools to deal with the speech from a standpoint of obstinacy and refusal to pursue peace, laying the blame on Yemen for whatever consequences may arise.

This tense rhetoric from the Saudi regime’s mercenaries in the media indicates a lack of seriousness about peace. Additionally, other signs suggest that we are heading towards a new round of war with the Saudi enemy. Sana'a International Airport remains closed, and the Saudi regime wants to revert to the previous situation, allowing only one flight via Amman Airport and not permitting the full reopening of the airport. This is unacceptable to the Yemeni leadership, which has clearly stated that the new equation is "an airport for an airport," "a port for a port," and "a bank for banks."

Preparedness for Any Potential Confrontation

Amid this stubbornness, the Yemeni leadership continues to send messages in various directions, preparing for the next phase. The Supreme Political Council has called on the Yemeni people to be ready for any potential confrontation and to follow any directives from Sayyed Abdulmlik in the coming days. This implies that the Saudi stubbornness cannot be ignored, especially since his speech was clear and direct, placing the responsibility on Saudi Arabia and warning it of the consequences of its adventurous policies and failure to quickly seek a solution.

Yemen is ready for all options, prepared for both peace and war. Preparations for confrontation continue at a steady pace: training courses are ongoing, military maneuvers are active, and military manufacturing is at its highest level. Yemen’s support for Palestinian resistance factions during Operation Al-Aqsa Flood has significantly contributed to its current state of progress and development. Additionally, Yemeni tribes are in a continuous state of mobilization, ready for a decisive battle against Saudi aggression.

Military Readiness

Militarily, Yemen possesses weapons capable of punishing and inflicting pain on the Saudi regime, including the Hatem-2 hypersonic missile and the Palestine ballistic missile, along with a large stockpile of ballistic and cruise missiles. These are capable of striking all oil and gas installations in Saudi Arabia, destroying all life infrastructure. Unlike the first battle in 2015, when Yemen was surprised by Saudi aggression and had no missiles to retaliate, the situation now is very different.

The Saudi regime cannot expect to successfully impose a blockade on the Yemeni people as it has done for the past nine years. Yemen holds a winning card in this aspect. If the Yemeni Army declares a blockade on Saudi Arabia, it will certainly strangle the kingdom. Saudi ships and oil tankers passing through the Red Sea will become legitimate targets for Yemen. Saudi Arabia will not be able to withstand such a blockade for long, as over four million barrels of oil pass through the Red Sea via the Bab al-Mandab Strait, which will be disrupted if Yemen decides to impose a blockade on Saudi Arabia. This will exacerbate the global fuel crisis and hinder Saudi exports. Can Saudi Arabia withstand such a blockade for several months?

Seriousness of Yemeni Warnings

The Saudi regime is aware of the consequences of ignoring these warnings. It knows well that Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi is a man of his word and action, and that strikes will rain down on its head, its oil fields, and its airports if it does not incline towards peace. The person who forced American aircraft carriers to flee the Red Sea will not be hindered by installations or fields in Saudi Arabia. Yemen’s target bank in this regard is vast, and the options are available. The stage of great pain will begin, and the Saudi regime will find itself facing Yemeni fire that spares no one. At that point, regret will be of no use to the Saudi regime.
