News - Yemen: A girl was martyred due to the explosion of a bomb remnant from the US-Saudi aggression in Saadah Governorate.

Saadah Governorate is one of the most contaminated areas with mines, cluster bombs, and bomb remnants of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression, posing a threat to the lives of civilians in the districts and causing significant civilian casualties.

Various regions across Yemen's governorates have been subjected to bombardment by the US-Saudi aggression using cluster bombs. Many of these internationally prohibited munitions still pose threats, scattered among farms and roads, leading to dozens of victims.

The toll of cluster bomb victims has exceeded 25,000 civilians since the onset of the US-Saudi aggression against Yemen. Landmines and remnants left by aggressive forces during their occupation continue to endanger residents, particularly in farming areas and along roads.

Official statistics indicate that nine governorates in Yemen have witnessed 2,500 cluster bomb raids, featuring destructive, phosphorous, and piercing bombs. Noteworthy mentions include US CBU-87 bombs, British BL755 bombs, and Brazilian ASTROS II bombs.
