News - Yemen: Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi announced on Thursday a new phase of escalation targeting ships linked to the Israeli entity in the Indian Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.

In his address on recent developments, Sayyed Abdulmalik stated, “We aim to intensify our operations in the Indian Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, which have now become fields under our control.”

He added that these operations have become effective, powerful, and highly impactful.

Sayyed Abdulmalik noted that this week’s operations in the Battle of the Promised Conquest and the Holy Jihad involved 25 ballistic and cruise missiles, drones, and naval boats.

He reported that 170 ships linked to the US, Israel, and Britain were targeted.

“There is a significant level of effectiveness in the Yemeni Army’s operations across the Red Sea, Arabian Sea, Gulf of Aden, and Bab al-Mandab,” he said.

He emphasized that the movement of ships connected to the Israeli enemy has become almost nonexistent, describing it as a rare occurrence that will soon be targeted.

Sayyed Abdulmalik explained that maritime operations have a substantial impact on American commercial activity, the economic conditions in the US and Britain, and on the Israeli enemy.

In support of Palestinians enduring a nine-month-long war by Israel, Yemeni Armed Forces have imposed a blockade on Israeli navigation through the Red Sea, expanding it to include the Gulf of Aden, Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean, and Mediterranean Sea.

Yemeni forces also target the Eilat area in southern occupied Palestine with ballistic and cruise missiles and drone swarms.

The Yemeni Armed Forces state their operations will continue until the aggression and war stop and the siege on Palestinians in Gaza is lifted.
