News - Yemen: The Supreme Political Council condemned the brutal Israeli aggression against civilian targets in Hodeidah Governorate in western Yemen, including a power station and fuel storage tanks.

In a statement on Saturday evening, the Council affirmed that this aggression will not pass without an effective response against the Israeli enemy.

The Council stated that the purpose of this aggression is to increase the suffering of the Yemeni people and to deter the country from its supportive stance towards the Palestinian people, noting, "Our support for the Palestinian people is principled, faith-based, and religious, and it will not stop or retreat."

"We will continue to stand with the Palestinian people, and there will be more effective strikes against the enemy," it added, noting that "the Israeli aggression will only strengthen the Yemeni people's determination to maintain their support for the Palestinian people and defend themselves."

The Council called on all countries, organizations, and peoples to condemn this Zionist aggression against Yemen and urged the Yemeni people to continue their active participation in all activities opposing the Israeli and American aggression and to be prepared for all options.

Earlier in the day, Almasirah net correspondent in Hodeidah reported that the airstrikes targeted oil storage facilities at the port and the oil and gas export facilities in Hodeidah.

Smoke was seen rising from a distance, and preliminary reports indicate that three citizens were killed and 87 injured. The targeting was carried out by Zionist F-35 aircraft.

These aggressive airstrikes come a day after the Yemeni Armed Forces targeted the city of Yafa (Jaffa), known as Tel Aviv, using a drone that breached the Zionist defenses, resulting in several casualties.
