Ansarullah’s Political Bureau denounced the Israeli aggression targeting oil storage facilities at the port of Hodeidah and the province’s power station, resulting in several civilian casualties and injuries, including burn victims. They emphasized that this aggression is a response to Yemen’s supportive stance towards the Palestinian people in Gaza, who are facing genocide by the Israeli enemy. The statement underscored that igniting fires in a civilian port will not restore the deterrence of Israel’s collapsing forces, which are in their weakest phase and failing to achieve victory in Gaza.
The statement from Ansarullah's Political Bureau highlighted that the Israeli aggression comes amidst daily massacres committed by the Zionist enemy against the Palestinian people, supported unconditionally by the US and the UK. It reiterated that the Israeli aggression will not deter Yemen from continuing its support for the Palestinian people and escalating both popular and military actions until the enemy halts its war and siege on Gaza and stops its atrocities against the Palestinian civilians.
Furthermore, Ansarullah's Political Bureau declared that targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure in Yemen will not go unpunished, stating, "Under the leadership of Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, Yemen will continue to meet challenges, and the enemy should brace for difficult days as long as it persists in its war against Palestine and Yemen."
The Yemeni Parliament also strongly condemned the Israeli enemy's criminal airstrikes on Hodeidah and its oil storage facilities at the port. In a statement on Saturday, the Parliament affirmed that Israel will pay for its crimes against the Yemeni and Palestinian peoples and will not escape confrontation and accountability. They labeled this direct aggression as a violation of Yemeni sovereignty, international law, and humanitarian law, breaching rules of war and engagement.
The Parliament called on Arab and Islamic parliament leaders, international free people, and organizations, including the UN Secretary-General and the Security Council, to condemn this aggression aimed at exacerbating Yemen’s suffering after more than nine years of aggression and blockade. They criticized the international community's failure to end the Israeli aggression on Gaza, attributing it to double standards that enabled Israel's continued violence and regional destabilization.
The Parliament held the UN and the Security Council responsible for their disgraceful silence and double standards, asserting that targeting civilian infrastructure demonstrates that the criminal entity is destined for destruction and cannot coexist peacefully. They urged Arab peoples to show solidarity and mass support for the decisive battle to liberate Palestine and the holy sites from Zionist control, emphasizing unity and general mobilization to end Israeli crimes in the region.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Israeli aggression on Hodeidah’s port, describing it as cowardly. They stated that the Israeli attack on Yemen was a desperate attempt to cover up war crimes and genocide against Palestinian civilians in Gaza and a punishment for Yemen's stance against Israeli aggression. The Ministry emphasized that the Yemeni people, who hold massive weekly demonstrations in support of Gaza, have authorized the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council to take necessary measures and continue military operations in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean until Israeli aggression ends and humanitarian aid flows uninterrupted to Gaza.
The Foreign Ministry reaffirmed that Yemen, enduring its tenth year of military aggression and a comprehensive blockade causing the worst man-made humanitarian disaster in modern history, will not be deterred by American-British or Israeli aggression from fulfilling its humanitarian and moral duty towards Palestinian civilians in Gaza. The statement concluded by asserting that Yemen’s leadership, supported by its people and Armed Forces, will not stand by idly and will respond to Israeli aggression at the appropriate time and place.
On a political level, the Joint Meeting Parties strongly condemned the blatant Israeli aggression on Yemen by targeting oil storage facilities in Hodeidah and the province’s power station, resulting in numerous civilian casualties. In a statement, the Joint Meeting Parties declared that Zionist arrogance will not go unanswered, asserting that Yemen's Armed Forces are fully prepared to discipline the occupier, supported by Western and American powers and some Arab regimes. The statement noted that the Israeli aggression aimed to inflict significant harm on Yemeni society and exacerbate their suffering, deterring them from their honorable stance with the Palestinian people.
The Joint Meeting Parties called on Yemeni Armed Forces to deliver a painful response to the entity in occupied Yafa (Jaffa), known as Tel Aviv, and urged the resistance axis to escalate its military operations against the enemy.
