589 Palestinian Martyrs in West Bank, Al-Quds Since Oct. 7, Including 142 Children

News - Middle East: The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that 589 Palestinian citizens have been martyred by the fire of Zionist enemy forces in the West Bank and occupied Al-Quds since the start of the Al-Aqsa Storm battle and the aggression on Gaza on October 7, 2023.

The Ministry of Health stated in a brief announcement on Wednesday that 142 children were among the martyrs in the West Bank and Al-Quds during the same period.

According to data and classifications from the Shireen Observatory, there were five elderly martyrs, 11 prisoners in enemy prisons, 20 martyrs from settler attacks, 295 during raids in the West Bank and Al-Quds, 129 martyrs from assassinations, and one journalist martyr.

The observatory noted that enemy authorities are withholding the bodies of 103 Palestinian martyrs, the latest being four martyrs from Tulkarm camp on Tuesday. It highlighted that 10 Palestinian women were among the 589 martyrs.

In the past 24 hours, 11 Palestinian citizens were martyred by enemy forces, including two women and a Palestinian security officer, during intense clashes following incursions into various areas of the West Bank and Al-Quds.

Israel launched the war on Gaza on October 7, 2023 after the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas waged a surprise attack, dubbed Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, against the occupying entity.

Tel Aviv has also imposed a “complete siege” on Gaza, cutting off fuel, electricity, food, and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.
