News - Middle East: The Arab Parliament has strongly condemned Israel’s “heinous massacre” of  Palestinian civilians in the city of Deir al-Balah in the central part of the Gaza Strip, calling on the international community to pressure the occupying regime to stop its genocidal war on the besieged enclave.

The legislative body of the Arab League made the remarks in a statement on Sunday, a day after an Israeli strike on a school sheltering displaced people in Deir al-Balah left at least 30 Palestinians dead.

The Arab Parliament described the Israeli strike as “a cowardly terrorist act, a shameful crime, and a flagrant violation of international law and international humanitarian law.”

It also called on international, regional, and European parliaments to pressure their governments to take action in all international forums to stand by the Palestinian people, who are subjected to these heinous crimes.
