The report, published by the Canadian research center Global Research, noted that Yemeni operations supporting the Palestinian people in the Red Sea and the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait have led to significant disruptions in maritime trade for the Zionist entity, affecting American interests.
According to the report, the continued maritime military operations conducted by the Sana'a forces have resulted in the loss of the United States' traditional control over oceans and maritime trade routes. It highlighted that Yemeni tactics rely on the use of drones, missiles, and suicide boats, reflecting their ability to execute unconventional operations that weaken traditional naval forces.
The report explained that these developments coincide with escalating tensions in the Middle East, especially with the ongoing brutal and savage Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip for the tenth consecutive month. This intensifies the geopolitical situation and places additional pressure on American maritime dominance.
The Canadian report indicated that Yemeni operations reveal significant weaknesses in American naval defenses and present new challenges for the United States in maintaining its maritime influence in a strategic region like the Red Sea.
The Yemeni forces have carried out scores of operations in support of the war-hit Gazans since the onset of Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza early last October, striking targets throughout the occupied Palestinian territories, in addition to targeting Israeli ships or vessels heading towards ports in the occupied territories.
The regime’s bloody onslaught on Gaza has so far killed 39,400 Palestinians, mostly women and children, leaving 90,996 others injured.
