News - Yemen: A senior official in Sana'a confirms that the response to the assassination of resistance leaders will be strong and impactful.

Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, Deputy Prime Minister of Sana'a for Security and Defense Affairs, stated that the response of the resistance axis to the assassination of leaders Ismail Haniyeh and Fouad Shukr will be strong, impactful, and effective.

In a statement on Saturday, Al-Ruwaishan added that the Israeli enemy will realize it made a mistake by committing such crimes.

He pointed out that continuing the stance in Gaza and the supporting fronts is one of the elements of the response to the Zionist assassination operations.

In his speech regarding the latest developments on Thursday, the Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi confirmed that a military response from the resistance axis to the Israeli aggression is inevitable. He pointed out that the coming days will bring what will harm the Israeli enemy and disgrace the gloaters.

In a fiery speech broadcast at the funeral of Shukr on Thursday, Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah said Israel had “crossed a red line” and must brace for a stern response from the resistance.

Sayyed Nasrallah vowed during his hour-long address that Hezbollah would avenge the blood of Shukr with an “inevitable retaliation” against the Israeli regime and that Tel Aviv must expect “rage and revenge on all the fronts supporting Gaza.”

Israel’s assassination of Shukr comes amid heightened tensions following the Israeli targeted killing of Palestinian resistance movement Hamas’s Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh in the Iranian capital of Tehran.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has warned the regime of a “harsh response” for the assassination, saying it is the Islamic Republic’s duty to avenge the blood of the resistance leader.
