News – Yemen: Yemen's Parliament renewed its condemnation and denunciation of the failure of Arab regimes, especially those that have normalized relations or collaborated with the aggressors, in the face of the ongoing massacres and genocide against the Palestinian people, resulting in over 140,000 victims, including 40,000 martyrs, mostly women, and children.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the Parliament appealed to the remaining vestiges of human conscience, Arab and Islamic sentiment, and to the free peoples of the world, urging them to rescue the Palestinian people and end the aggression and siege.

The Parliament's statement questioned whether it is time to reassess the situation concerning the Palestinian people's suffering confront the Zionist, American, and British arrogance and recklessness in the region, and to put an end to the massacres and genocide being committed by the Zionist occupation in full view of the world.

The statement expressed astonishment at the shameful international silence, double standards, and selective application of international law that serves the Zionist agenda. It asked where the international community, the United Nations, the Security Council, and their affiliated UN bodies were concerning the atrocities committed against the Palestinian people and why the relevant Security Council and International Court of Justice resolutions were not being enforced.

The statement called on the world and the international community to act urgently to save the Palestinian people from further Zionist massacres and atrocities. It condemned the American role in supporting the Zionist entity, considering the US administration a key partner in the perpetration of massacres against the Palestinian people. This is evidenced by the US Congress' reception of the Zionist war criminal Netanyahu and the provision of unlimited support, amounting to billions of dollars, to purchase deadly weapons to kill Palestinians.

The Parliament once again called on the free world to hold the criminal leaders of the Zionist entity and their supporters accountable.

Since October 7, 2023, Israeli occupation forces have continued their aggression against Gaza by land, sea, and air, resulting in the martyrdom of 39,790 Palestinians and the injury of 91,702 others, with thousands of martyrs still trapped under rubble and in the streets, inaccessible to rescue teams and civil defense.
