News - Yemen: Yemen's Minister of Defense, Major General Mohammed Nasser Al-Atifi, has affirmed that the Yemeni Armed Forces are fully prepared to launch the strongest strikes against the Zionist enemy in retaliation for its blatant aggression on Hodeidah Governorate at the end of July.

Al-Atifi stated that the Yemeni Armed Forces, across all formations, are at the highest level of readiness to deliver painful blows deep into the Zionist entity.

"We in the Armed Forces have received strict and firm directives to determine the appropriate and effective methods to address the challenges imposed by the Zionist enemy on the region and Yemen," he declared.

"The Zionist entity will face nothing but strength and harshness from us, and it will pay a heavy price for its continued violation of our nation's sovereignty and its targeting of civilian sites in Hodeidah," he added.

Al-Atifi emphasized that military decisions have been carefully considered, with a thorough analysis of the Zionist enemy's weaknesses. He noted that the most critical targets within the Zionist entity have been precisely identified following an extensive process of intelligence analysis.

He confirmed that the missile forces, unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), and naval forces are equipped with the capabilities and resources needed for precise and effective execution.

The Defense Minister assured that the Rocketry Force, Air Force, and Naval Forces possess the necessary capabilities for accurate targeting.

He also emphasized that the response from the axis of jihad and resistance to the Zionist enemy's crimes is imminent and inevitable, as confirmed by Sayyed Abdulmalik, and it will be a strategic, decisive response.

Major General Al-Atifi also stated that the American military reinforcements in the region intended to defend the Zionist entity mean nothing and will be met with force, leading to their ultimate failure.

In July, Israeli warplanes targeted civilian buildings, oil facilities, and a power station in the Yemeni province of Hodeidah, killing six citizens and injuring 87 others.

Brushing off official accounts that the airstrikes had targeted civilian structures, Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari alleged that the regime’s aircraft had struck “military targets” in Hodeidah.

He also said the strikes had come in response to the attacks that the Yemeni Armed Forces had been carrying out against the occupied Palestinian territories over the past months.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have been targeting the territories as well as Israeli ships and vessels affiliated with the occupying regime since October 7, when Tel Aviv began a genocidal war against the Gaza Strip. They have vowed to keep up their operations as long as the regime sustains the war and a simultaneous siege that it has been enforcing against the Palestinian territory.

Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Yahya Sare'e announced after the airstrikes that the response to Israeli aggression would include "vital targets of the Israeli enemy," reiterating their previous statement that Yafa (Jaffa) is considered an unsafe area.
