News - Yemen: Bloomberg has confirmed that the United States has suffered a significant defeat in the Red Sea, highlighting the changing balance of power in the region. 

In a Friday report, the agency stated that the past year has been full of surprises even by Middle Eastern standards. It considered that the "biggest surprise" was the maritime attacks launched by the Yemeni Armed Forces, which represented the most serious naval challenge in decades.

Bloomberg noted that many Americans had never heard of the "Houthis," but their success in challenging a major power has exposed vulnerabilities in US military strength. The Yemeni Armed Forces' attacks have even led to the bankruptcy of Israel's Eilat port, demonstrating increasing boldness and a shift in the balance of power at sea.

The report considered that "this epic," as described, "reveals global issues," noting that although the Yemeni Armed Forces do not control all of Yemen, they have used drones and missiles to control access to vital seas.

Bloomberg pointed out that the US military is suffering from fatigue, lacking the necessary cruise missiles, attack aircraft, and warships to respond aggressively to the situation without affecting its readiness for conflicts elsewhere.

The report warned that by 2025, whoever assumes the US presidency will need to confront the reality that America is losing control over the Red Sea, with significant global consequences.

The Bloomberg report comes amid a new shift in the discourse of American, British media regarding the situation in the Red Sea. Recently, these media outlets have started using terms like "defeat" and "failure" directly, repeatedly to describe the state of the US and its Western allies in the naval confrontation with the Armed Forces.

On Friday, the American maritime affairs site Maritime Executive published a report confirming that the "multinational presence in the Red Sea failed to suppress attacks on ships," noting that the attacks continued despite American, British, and European efforts.

It added that the persistence of Yemeni operations indicates the "resilience gained under the pressure of Saudi and Emirati attacks since 2015, and the perseverance that no adversary has yet been able to counter."

The report confirmed that the operations have demonstrated that the Yemeni Armed Forces are capable of detecting and locating ships while they move along maritime routes.

These reports represent renewed testimonies that what the Armed Forces have accomplished in the Red Sea during the Gaza support battle marks a significant historical shift in the balance of power and dominance within the region. The "Promised Conquest Battle" has created a gateway to a new reality that the West, with all its capabilities and influence, can no longer overlook or return to the pre-existing conditions.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have imposed a maritime blockade on Israeli shipping and a siege on Israeli ports in occupied Palestine in response to Israeli aggression and the ongoing war of extermination against the Palestinian people in Gaza, which has resulted in the deaths and injuries of over 150,000 civilians during 11 months of conflict.
