News - Yemen: Yemen strongly condemned the heinous crime committed by the US-British aggression in launching two airstrikes near a girls' school in the Al-Jund area of Taiz, resulting in the death and injury of several students.

The official spokesperson for the government, Minister of Information Hashem Sharaf al-Din, stated that this criminal act represents a dangerous escalation, reflecting the frustration and failure of the American and British governments in protecting Israeli navigation in the Red Sea. 

He described the attack as a desperate attempt to divert attention from their failures and a futile effort to intimidate the steadfast Yemeni people, who continue to support the Palestinian cause.

He affirmed that Yemen, both its leadership and people, remains committed to its principled decision to stand with Gaza and will not back down from this moral and humanitarian stance, regardless of the circumstances.

The government spokesperson held the US-UK aggressor responsible for this heinous crime, calling on the international community to condemn this cowardly and brutal attack on civilians and educational institutions.

Several students at Al-Jund School in the Al-Taziah district of Taiz governorate were killed or injured due to an airstrike by US-British forces.

These attacks come as part of an attempt by the US and Britain to deter Yemen from supporting the Palestinian people, who have been subjected to a campaign of genocide in the Gaza Strip for over 11 months.

Despite the continuous American, British, and Zionist aggression on Yemen since the end of last year, it has failed to prevent Yemen from engaging in the promised conquest and sacred jihad. The Yemeni Armed Forces continue to strike the Zionist enemy and block the enemy's maritime navigation.
