News - Yemen: Defense and Armed Forces Minister Major General Mohammed Nasser al-Atifi warned of surprises for the Israeli enemy that they could never imagine.

“We will make “Israel” regret that it attacked Yemen," he continued.

Minister al-Atifi urged the Israeli enemy to take the warnings seriously, as the preparations that Yemen has made will have a significant impact and a seismic effect. The time has come for the enemies to pay the price for their senseless war.

He said, "As we celebrate this great religious occasion, we draw inspiration from our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) — the spirit of jihad, sacrifice, giving, noble values, and virtuous ethics. 

The defense minister also emphasized that the country’s army will remain steadfast “to protect their homeland and sacred sites.” 

“Our enemies must understand well that the spirit of jihad possessed by our Yemeni people and their valiant army is not merely words but deeply rooted in our essence.

Yemenis have declared their open support for Palestine’s struggle against the Israeli occupation since the regime launched a devastating war on Gaza on October 7 last year, killing more than 41,000 Palestinians to date. 

The Yemeni Armed Forces have said that they won’t stop their attacks until unrelenting Israeli ground and aerial offensives in Gaza end.

Israel launched its brutal campaign of genocide in Gaza after Palestinian resistance groups conducted a surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm into the occupied territories.

The regime has had in place a near-total siege on the coastal territory, which has reduced to a trickle the flow of foodstuffs, medicine, electricity, and water into the Palestinian territory.

Leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi has said it is “a great honor and blessing to be confronting America directly.”

The attacks have forced some of the world’s biggest shipping and oil companies to suspend transit through one of the world’s most important maritime trade routes.

Tankers are instead adding thousands of miles to international shipping routes by sailing around the continent of Africa rather than going through the Suez Canal.
