News - Yemen: Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates endorsed the targeting of Jaffa (Tel Aviv) with a hypersonic missile that bypassed all air defenses, reaffirming Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi's commitment to supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza, who have faced a war of starvation and genocide for the past 11 months.

In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry declared its full support for this legitimate action, reflecting the Yemeni people's stance against the daily crimes committed against Palestinians.

The statement highlighted the symbolic timing of the Yemeni military operation, which coincided with the celebration of the Prophet’s birthday, delivering a clear message about the existential conflict with Zionism as both an entity and a project. This includes the atrocities in Gaza, marked by ethnic cleansing and systematic displacement.

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Sunday that they struck a Zionist military target south of Jaffa, in occupied Palestine, using a new hypersonic ballistic missile. 

Armed Forces spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e revealed that the new hypersonic missile, which traveled 2,040 kilometers in 11.5 minutes, reached its target, with the enemy's defenses failing to intercept it. The strike caused widespread panic, sending over two million Israelis into shelters—an unprecedented event in Israeli history.

This operation, part of the fifth phase of escalation against Israel, reflects the Rocketry Forces' efforts to develop advanced missile technology. Brigadier General Saree emphasized that despite American, British, and Israeli defensive systems, Yemen remains committed to supporting the Palestinian people in their struggle.

The Yemeni Armed Forces warned of further strikes and special operations as the first anniversary of the October 7 operation approaches, vowing to retaliate for attacks on Hodeidah and continue supporting the oppressed Palestinian people.
