News - Yemen: Yemen's Parliament condemned the treacherous and cowardly cyber attack carried out by the criminal Israeli entity, which targeted several areas in Lebanon, resulting in the martyrdom of eight people, including a child, and injuring approximately three thousand others.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Parliament described this heinous crime as clear evidence of the barbarity and brutality of this entity, highlighting its disregard for the lives of children, women, and civilians in general.

The council emphasized that this cyber attack adds to the series of crimes committed by the Zionist enemy in the region, marking a dangerous escalation, a violation of public safety, and a blatant assault on the lives of the Lebanese people by Zionist war criminals.

It noted that the Zionist entity's resort to such vile and barbaric tactics signals its bankruptcy and ongoing defeats since October 7, inflicted by the heroes of the resistance in Gaza and the Axis nations.

The Parliament added that the occupying entity is floundering in a hysterical manner due to the painful blows it has been receiving, exposing the extent of the illusions, deceit, and misinformation perpetuated by Zionist media and its allies.

The Parliament affirmed the legitimate right to respond to these crimes and stressed the need to hold the entity accountable for all crimes it has committed, with the backing of the US and UK, against the Palestinian people and Arab nations.

It further emphasized that the time has come for the enemy to pay for its crimes, massacres, and acts of genocide.

The Parliament called on the free people of Arab and Islamic nations to unite, support the Axis of Resistance, and make the Israeli entity taste the bitterness of defeat and the crushing of its forces.

The statement also urged heightened alertness and preparedness, calling for caution, vigilance, and increased awareness to thwart its conspiracies and counter infiltration attempts by its agents and those normalizing ties with it, planted within the fabric of the nation.

Preliminary investigations by both Hezbollah and Lebanese officials indicate that the blasts were likely caused by a remote cyber attack orchestrated by the Israeli regime amid heightened tensions.

In a statement, Hezbollah said after reviewing all available information about the attacks, they hold the Israeli regime “fully responsible for this criminal aggression, which targeted civilians and resulted in the martyrdom of several individuals and injuries to many others.”

Hezbollah vowed to continue supporting the Palestinian resistance and declared that the “treacherous and criminal enemy will certainly be punished for this aggressive act.”
