President Mashat Affirms Commitment to Independence, Support for Palestinian Cause on Revolution Anniversary

News - Yemen: Yemen's Persident Mahdi Al-Mashat has affirmed that the Yemeni people are determined to achieve their goals of full independence, freedom, and dignity, while building a strong and invincible army to protect the gains of the revolution.

In his speech marking the 62nd anniversary of the September 26 Revolution, President Mashat emphasized that the Yemeni people have made and will continue to make sacrifices in support of the Palestinian people.

He also reaffirmed Yemen's continued principled, religious, and humanitarian stance in supporting the peoples of the region in their fight against the forces of oppression and arrogance.

He pointed out that the anniversary comes as Yemen has been subjected to a continuous US-Saudi aggression for ten years, which has not stopped to this day, and our dear Yemeni people continue to face obstacles to achieving their aspirations for independence, freedom.

Mashat pointed out that this anniversary comes as Yemen continues to endure a decade-long U.S.-Saudi aggression, which has yet to cease. Despite these challenges, the Yemeni people remain committed to achieving their aspirations for independence and freedom.

He noted that the Yemeni people are well aware that those affiliated with the Saudi and Emirati regimes, in both their decisions and orientations, cannot present themselves as protectors of the Republic or the September 26 Revolution. Rather, they are a continuation of the conspirators who have worked against Yemen from the start.

"The people have continued their struggle for freedom and independence, and to achieve their goals over the decades, culminating in the September 21 Revolution, which succeeded in ending external guardianship and has made significant strides towards achieving the goals of the September 26 Revolution in securing independence and a dignified life," he said.

He added, "The true Yemeni Republic and its heroes are the men standing on the frontlines, facing the most brutal global aggression in our modern history, which aims to return Yemen to a state of external dependency."

President Mashat stressed that the Yemeni people are more determined than ever to continue on the path of change, development, and structural reform of all state institutions to ensure they fulfill their duty to serve the Yemeni people until the desired outcomes are achieved.

He also renewed his condemnation of the horrific crimes committed by the Zionist entity against the people of Palestine and Lebanon, with unprecedented American and Western support.

President Mashat advised the Saudi regime to expedite steps to end the aggression, resolve the state of neither war nor peace, lift the blockade entirely, compensate for damages, and address humanitarian issues, as this would benefit both Saudi Arabia and Yemen, as well as the wider region.

Yemen, under its revolutionary and military leadership, is engaged in a war against the "trio of evil" — the United States, the United Kingdom, and Israel — due to Yemen's support for the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, where the population has been subjected to genocide for more than 11 months.

During this confrontation, the Yemeni Armed Forces have managed to deliver severe blows to the trio of evil by sinking several ships and forcing the aircraft carriers Eisenhower and Roosevelt to retreat from the Yemeni operational area. Additionally, the Armed Forces succeeded in reaching the heart of the enemy's capital with two notable operations: the first using a Yafa-type drone and the second with a hypersonic ballistic missile.
