News - Yemen: The Political Bureau of Ansarullah has condemned the bombing of Lebanon’s densely populated southern suburbs, calling it "unprecedented savagery," though not surprising given the actions of the Zionist regime.

The Political Bureau stressed that Israel's actions would not be possible without the unlimited support it receives from Western countries, particularly the United States. "The Israeli enemy would not have gone this far without the limitless Western and American backing," they stated.

Furthermore, Ansarullah pointed out that the weapons used in the recent strikes once again confirms the full complicity of the United States in the bloodshed of civilians. "The weapons used in the recent airstrikes further confirm that the United States is fully complicit in the civilian casualties," they emphasized.

The Political Bureau described the aggression against Palestine and Lebanon as an "exclusively American war," renewing their solidarity with the Islamic resistance in Lebanon. They expressed confidence in Hezbollah and its leadership, praising their strong political and military stance. "We renew our solidarity with the Islamic resistance in Lebanon, and we affirm our confidence in Hezbollah, its political and military leadership, and its solid support base," the statement said.

Ansarullah also called on Arab and Islamic nations, as well as all freedom-loving people around the world, to increase their solidarity efforts to stop the war and aggression against Lebanon and Palestine.

Lastly, the bureau warned that the dangerous escalation against Lebanon could open the door to a full-scale war that would ultimately backfire on the Zionist regime. "This dangerous development in the aggression against Lebanon opens the door to an all-out war, the result of which will only be disastrous for the temporary entity and its war criminals," they concluded.

Since dawn, at least 25 civilians have been reported killed due to Israeli airstrikes, with Lebanon's Health Ministry indicating that nearly 700 people have lost their lives in the country this week alone.

Israel has been conducting near-daily attacks on southern Lebanon since October 7, 2023, when the regime launched its campaign of death, destruction and genocide in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Hezbollah has been responding. Its strikes are meant to both retaliate and support the war-hit Gazans.

The regime has repeatedly threatened to expand its attacks into another wholesale military onslaught against the country.

Hezbollah has vowed to defend the Lebanese soil with all its resources.

Two Israeli wars waged against Lebanon in 2000 and 2006 were met with strong resistance from Hezbollah, resulting in the retreat of the regime in both conflicts.
