Squares were filled with millions of participants carrying Yemeni and Palestinian flags, banners of freedom, and images of the martyred leader, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, along with photos of the martyred leader Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the martyred president Saleh al-Sammad. Protesters also held signs denouncing Zionist crimes against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples.
This march follows Yemen's weekly demonstrations in support of the Palestinian and Lebanese causes, which have been ongoing for a full year. It came in response to the call by Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, in his speech on Thursday addressing the latest developments in the aggression on Gaza and Lebanon.
In his speech, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi stated: “As we approach the completion of one year since the Al-Aqsa Storm(a reference to the ongoing struggle for Al-Aqsa Mosque), in obedience to God and in loyalty to the Palestinian people and their brave fighters, to Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, to Hezbollah, and to the Lebanese people, I call on our dear people to come out in massive numbers tomorrow, Friday, in the capital, Sanaa, and in other provinces and districts, in accordance with the established arrangements."
The crowds chanted slogans such as: “Israel must be wiped off the map,” “The loss of great leaders is one of the greatest tragedies for the nation,” “The blood of Commander Nasrallah will shake the enemies of God,” and “The sacrifice of the leaders has only strengthened Hezbollah's resolve.”
The rally's statement addressed the Israeli Zionists, labeling them “the killers of prophets and righteous men,” and warning that “the fear of Sayyed Nasrallah will continue to haunt you until your inevitable demise.” The statement reaffirmed the commitment to continue the fight for the resistance, as exemplified by Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and emphasized the determination to defeat the Zionist enemy.
The statement also praised the “Second True Promise Operation” carried out by the Islamic Republic of Iran, which targeted all of occupied Palestine, undermining the enemy’s illusions of power and control. The statement reaffirmed that the Zionist regime, along with its legendary air defenses, is as fragile as a spider's web, and its downfall is near and certain.
The statement condemned the genocidal crimes against the Palestinian people in Gaza over the past year, which have now extended to the West Bank and Lebanon, amid global silence and shameful Arab and Islamic inaction.
Finally, the statement affirmed the Yemeni people’s unwavering commitment to jihad, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. The people of Yemen pledged to continue supporting their brothers in Palestine and Lebanon and vowed to maintain the weekly mass rallies until victory.
