News - Middle East: Iraqi anti-terror resistance factions have executed two drone attacks on key targets in the northern region of the Israeli-occupied territories, in response to the Tel Aviv regime’s severe military campaign against Gaza and its violent aggression on Lebanon.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq, an umbrella group of anti-terror fighters, in a statement published on its Telegram channel, claimed responsibility for an early Sunday morning attack.

According to the statement, the strike was carried out with kamikaze drones.

It said the operation was conducted in continuation of the struggle against the occupying Israeli regime, in support of Palestinians and the Lebanese nation, and in retaliation for the massacres that the usurping Zionist entity is perpetrating against women, children, and elderly people in the besieged territory as well as the Arab country.

The group noted that it will continue to target and destroy important installations across the occupied lands.

Hours after the drone attack, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced another strike, saying that it had used unmanned aerial vehicles to hit a vital target in the same Israeli-occupied area.

Hezbollah conducts widespread attacks on Israeli positions

Meanwhile, Hezbollah fighters targeted several Israeli military positions in a series of rocket strikes, reporting direct hits and reaffirming their support for the Palestinian resistance and defense of Lebanon.

The Lebanese resistance group said its forces sent a “large rocket salvo” toward Kiryat Shmona in northern occupied territories, where sirens sounded.

Israeli Hebrew-language media outlets reported that nearly 100 missiles were fired from Lebanon toward the illegal settlement.

Hezbollah also claimed strikes targeting Israeli soldiers spotted in the vicinity of al-Marj outpost, as well as in Beit Hillel, Maayan Baruch and Kfar Giladi sites close to the border with Lebanon.

The resistance group further reported that its fighters targeted an Israeli tank with guided missiles as it was advancing towards the Ras al-Naqoura maritime site. The strike destroyed the tank and caused casualties among its occupants.

Later, Hezbollah said it struck the settlement of Karmiel with a rocket barrage.

Qassam Brigades claims attacks on Israeli tanks, troops in north Gaza

Furthermore, the military wing of the Palestinian Hamas resistance movement says its fighters targeted Israeli military vehicles and soldiers as they advanced in the northern flank of Gaza.

Qassam Brigades said Palestinian fighters used an explosive device to “destroy” a Merkava tank of the Israeli military in the az-Zahra neighborhood.

A second explosive device targeted another tank in the same area, it added.

The group noted that its fighters also launched mortar rounds towards Israeli soldiers gathering east of Jabalia refugee camp.
