Yemen: Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, the leader of Ansarullah in Yemen, is keen to deliver a televised speech every Thursday afternoon to discuss developments and events in Gaza. His speeches are divided into several main themes.

The second part of his speeches focuses on the support fronts for Gaza, particularly from Iraq and Lebanon. In the third part, he covers Yemen’s support for Gaza, detailing what Yemen has provided each week. He concludes his speech by calling on the Yemeni masses to participate in million-person marches on Fridays in Al-Sabeen Square in Sana’a and across the rest of the country in solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza.

Sayyed Abdulmalik's weekly speeches garner significant attention from Yemenis and freedom-loving people around the world. Many television channels affiliated with the resistance axis broadcast the speech live, and even Hebrew-language channels analyze its contents.

Over the course of a year during the "Al-Aqsa Storm" operation, Sayyed Abdulmalik emphasized important messages concerning Yemen and its position on the Israeli aggression in Gaza. He consistently reassured the Palestinian people that they are not alone, saying, "The Yemeni people stand with you."

On October 11, 2023, Sayyed Abdulmalik delivered a speech that surprised the world. He defined Yemen’s stance on the conflict, stating that it is the duty—religious, humanitarian, and national—of the Muslim world, particularly the Arab nations, to support the Palestinian people and fighters, providing them with political, media, financial, and even military backing.

In that speech, he expressed his wish that Yemen was geographically close to Palestine so that Yemenis could send hundreds of thousands of fighters to directly participate alongside the Palestinian people. He said, "Our people are ready to send hundreds of thousands of fighters to Palestine to join the Palestinian people in this sacred jihad against the Zionist enemy. We are facing geographical obstacles, but no matter the challenges, we will not hesitate to do everything within our power." He reiterated his famous phrase: "You are not alone; the Yemeni people are with you."

Sayyed Abdulmalik's comments about geography and the distance between Yemen and occupied Palestine were understandable. However, his statement about "doing everything we can" raised many questions, especially when he said, "If the U.S. intervenes directly, we are ready to participate, even with missile and drone strikes, and any military options available."

He views the resilience of the Palestinian fighters and people in Gaza as extraordinary and unprecedented in the history of the Palestinian people and Arab-Israeli conflicts.

America’s Partnership and Arab Complicity

In all his speeches, Sayyed Abdulmalik highlights America’s role in the aggression against Gaza, emphasizing that the U.S. is a main partner in these crimes by supplying weapons to Israel. He pointed out that U.S.-made bombs, designed for military fortifications, are being dropped on refugee camps in Gaza. America’s support extends beyond financial backing, covering political, diplomatic, and military dimensions. The U.S. has also vetoed multiple UN resolutions to cease hostilities.

He also criticized the U.S. for suppressing pro-Gaza demonstrations in various states and highlighted that U.S. presidential candidates boast about their support for Israel. He argued that without U.S. support, the aggression on Gaza would not have continued this long.

In contrast, Sayyed Abdulmalik often speaks with sorrow and frustration about the Arab and Islamic world's silence in the face of the Gaza crisis. He condemned how some Arab countries spend billions of dollars distracting their populations with entertainment and frivolous events, while their media sides with Israel in a futile attempt to erase the Palestinian cause.

The Iraq, Lebanon, and Yemen Fronts

Sayyed Abdulmalik continually praises the support fronts from Lebanon and Iraq. He describes the Lebanese front as strategic, influential, and vital, with Hezbollah fighters, led by figures like the martyred leader Hassan Nasrallah, showing unmatched heroism in supporting Gaza. Despite heavy sacrifices, Hezbollah remains steadfast.

In every speech, he also speaks about the rising contributions of the Iraqi resistance in supporting Gaza, highlighting the impact of their efforts and coordination with Yemen, with some joint operations being carried out.

Regarding the Yemeni front, Sayyed Abdulmalik focuses on two main areas: the military operations by Yemeni forces supporting Gaza and their weekly achievements, as well as potential future actions. He also urges the Yemeni people to continue their massive demonstrations in Al-Sabeen Square in Sana’a and across the country, while maintaining solidarity through protests, activities in schools, universities, and state institutions, and organizing events that support the Palestinian cause.

Sayyed Abdulmalik's speeches have served as a balm for the wounds of Palestinians in Gaza, especially in light of the betrayal and silence from Arab leaders and their populations. Many videos from the devastated Gaza Strip have surfaced, showing citizens praising Yemen for steadfast and unlimited support. Leaders of Palestinian resistance factions have also expressed their gratitude to Yemen and Sayyed Abdulmalik for their honorable stance during one of Palestine’s darkest hours in its war against the Zionist entity.
