News - Yemen: The Parliament praised the special operations carried out by Hezbollah fighters and the heroes of the Lebanese resistance in targeting the bases and soldiers of the Israeli occupying enemy.

It affirmed that these operations are part of efforts to support the steadfast Palestinian people and their brave resistance in Gaza, and to defend Lebanon and its proud, free, and resisting people.

The Parliament saluted the sacrifices of the Islamic resistance fighters in Lebanon for their steadfastness and sacrifices in confronting the Zionist occupiers and invaders, and changing the strategy of ground combat by targeting military sites in defense of civilians, whom the Israeli entity continues to kill in war crimes.

The Parliament renewed its strong condemnation of the shameful and disgraceful silence of the international community in the face of the crimes committed by the Israeli entity against civilians. It pointed out that the Israeli crimes have resulted in nearly 150,000 casualties, the majority of whom are children, women, and the elderly, in addition to the displacement of millions from their homes in full-fledged war crimes.

The Parliament expressed astonishment at the selective application of international law, as more than 40 countries condemned and denounced the targeting of UNIFIL forces, while their consciences should have moved to stop the crimes targeting children and women and to act swiftly to save them from the brutality of the killing machine and the siege, which has deprived them of the most basic necessities of life.

Israel has been targeting Lebanon since October 2023, when it launched a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.

Hezbollah has been responding to the aggression with numerous retaliatory operations, including one with a hypersonic ballistic missile, targeting the occupied Palestinian territories.

Since late September, Israel has escalated its strikes against Hezbollah, killing its leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and a number of its senior figures.

At least 2,306 people have been killed by Israeli fire, and more than 10,698 others wounded since the clashes began last year, according to the health ministry.

The Lebanese resistance movement has vowed to keep up its operations against Israel as long as the Israeli regime continues its Gaza war, which has so far killed at least 42,227 Palestinians, mostly women and children.
