News - Yemen: Yemen's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has strongly condemned the ongoing US-British aggression against Yemen, including the latest attack launched at dawn Thursday, involving 15 airstrikes on the capital, Sana'a, and Sa'adah province.

The official spokesperson for the Ministry, Ambassador Waheed Al-Shami, confirmed that the ongoing US-British aggression, which is supported by certain countries, constitutes a full-scale violation of international law and a blatant breach of Yemen’s sovereignty, stability, and territorial integrity.

Al-Shami emphasized that this aggression is a clear violation of the United Nations Charter, which obliges member states to refrain from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state.

He further noted that the US and UK have failed to legitimize their aggression against Yemen, falsely claiming that their strikes are in self-defense and aimed at protecting international navigation in the Red Sea. In reality, their true objective is to protect the Zionist entity and enable it to continue committing war crimes and acts of genocide against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, as well as to break the naval blockade imposed on it by Yemen.

He also stressed that the US-British aggression undermines efforts to end the conflict and the blockade imposed on Yemen, while threatening the security and stability of the region. He explained that this aggression, ongoing for more than nine months, has targeted civilian sites and economic facilities, leading to civilian deaths, including children.

The spokesperson reaffirmed Sana'a's commitment to ensuring the freedom and safety of navigation in the Red Sea, emphasizing that it is the US and UK that pose a threat to navigation and are working to militarize the Red Sea.

He called on the international community to fulfill its responsibility by condemning the US-British aggression against Yemen, which threatens international peace and security. He urged the global community to address the root causes of instability in the region, particularly by stopping the Zionist aggression against Palestine, Lebanon, and other countries.

The US-British aggression targeted multiple locations in Sana'a and Sa'adah early Thursday morning.

Almasirah's correspondent in Sana’a reported that the attacks targeted six areas, including Television, Al-Hafa, and Jarban in the northern and southern parts of the capital.

In Sa'adah, nine airstrikes hit the Kahlan and Al-Abla areas east of Sa'adah city.

The US-British coalition continues its aggression against Yemen in support of the Zionist enemy, attempting to deter Yemen from supporting the Palestinian people, who have been facing Zionist extermination for over a year.

The Yemeni Armed Forces reaffirm their commitment to continuing the Al-Aqsa Flood campaign and maintaining the naval blockade on Israel until the Zionist aggression against Gaza and Lebanon ends.
