2015: Aggression Airstrikes Target a Civilian Home in Sa'adah

On October 31, 2015, US-Saudi warplanes launched a series of airstrikes on the home of a citizen named Al-Tabari in Al-Saifi area, Sahar District, Sa'adah Governorate. The strikes destroyed his home, damaged nearby properties, and forced local families to flee, amplifying their suffering.

2017: Injured in Missile Attack on a Water Well in Sa'adah

On October 31, 2017, US-Saudi aggression forces and their mercenaries launched a missile strike on a drinking water well in the Fout area, Haydan District, Sa'adah Governorate. The attack injured a resident, destroyed well facilities, deprived hundreds of families of clean drinking water, and exacerbated local suffering.

The well was the sole source of clean water for drinking, washing, and agriculture for the community. After its destruction, residents had to travel long distances for unsafe water, leading to dehydration and waterborne diseases, especially impacting women and children.

The story of the water well destruction in Fout is one of many human tragedies over the nine years of aggression and blockade. It highlights the depth of the Yemeni people’s suffering and their deprivation of basic human rights, including access to clean water.
