News - Yemen: The Entesaf Organization for Women's and Children's Rights stated that the final report of the UN Security Council’s expert team on Yemen reveals the Council's true function as one exploited to further U.S. and Israeli interests, incite war, aggression, and siege, and utilize the Security Council’s resources for their benefit.

In a statement on Wednesday, the organization condemned the clear contradiction in the objectives of the United Nations and the Security Council, which are supposed to uphold neutrality, objectivity, and balance. 

The organization considered this a violation of the principles and rules of international humanitarian law, including the principles of humanity, distinction, and proportionality.

The statement added that the report of the international experts on Yemen contained language that could be interpreted as an invitation for the international community to impose severe sanctions on Yemen, increase economic pressure on the Yemeni people, and justify a future assault. 

This report coincides with the ongoing crimes and massacres committed by the Zionist enemy in Palestine and Lebanon.

The organization noted that such a report would have serious consequences and regrettable repercussions, as it could act as a green light for the Zionist enemy to continue its crimes with UN endorsement.

The organization denounced the report, calling it disappointing, and urged all human rights organizations and honorable activists worldwide to condemn, reject, and work to expose all crimes committed by the Zionist coalition against children and women in Palestine and Lebanon.

The organization held the Security Council, the United Nations, and its Secretary-General fully responsible for any crimes that might be committed against the children and women of Palestine and Lebanon by the Zionist coalition.
