Saudi Arabia Resurrects Islah Party:  Mercenaries at Demand

Yemen: Saudi Arabia has revived the Islah party, a mercenary group, after years of sidelining, marginalizing, and accusing it of terrorism, claiming it prolonged the war in Yemen and directed retaliatory military strikes against it. This shift comes after the group has provided full services to foreign powers.

This move underscores Riyadh's continued need for the Muslim Brotherhood faction to confront the so-called "Transitional Council" and other factions linked to the UAE occupation. This indicates that Islah is merely a tool used by the aggressor nations whenever needed.

The return of Islah is political, as the city of Aden, under occupation, hosted the announcement of the so-called "National Coalition of Political Parties and Components" on Tuesday. This coalition is led by the mercenary Ahmed Obaid bin Daghr and was boycotted by the Transitional Council, while several figures, pretending to represent national political components opposed to the Saudi and UAE aggression, participated.

The new political bloc, announced in occupied Aden with the presence of the head of the mercenary government Ahmed Bin Mubarak, Western diplomats, and representatives from foreign embassies, receives direct support from the United States through its intelligence arms, the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the National Democratic Institute (NDI). It also enjoys Saudi backing. This announcement follows a series of suspicious meetings held in the US, Jordanian capital Amman, and Riyadh, resulting in the formation of this bloc with 22 mercenaries representing parties, most of which oppose the aggression but were fragmented to suit Riyadh’s interests. Islah played a significant role in their formation.

The goal of the new bloc, which has made Aden its headquarters and intends to open branches in other occupied provinces, is to reshape the political map in areas controlled by the aggressor coalition to serve Saudi Arabia. It seeks to end the influence and control of the UAE occupation and the so-called Transitional Council over Aden and other southern and eastern regions. This situation signals an impending prolonged conflict between the aggressor nations.

Early Rejection:

Only hours after the announcement of the bloc controlled by Islah with US and Saudi support, several political components and forces in the southern provinces declared their withdrawal and refusal to join it on Tuesday.

Among the notable withdrawers were the "Southern Movement Council," which denied its participation in the recent meetings, as well as the "Hadramawt General Conference," which issued a statement denying its participation in any Yemeni coalitions, whether from the North or South. Additionally, the "General People's Congress" denied participation in any coalitions with what they termed "mercenaries," as published on their official website. The leaders who assumed positions within the party are part of the group of mercenaries residing in hotels in Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, and Cairo.

These parties' names appeared on the list of signatories for the announcement of the so-called national parties led by Islah with US support in the occupied city of Aden. The Transitional Council also confirmed its total boycott of the bloc and its non-recognition.

A Parallel Response from the UAE Occupation:

In the same context, the Transitional Council affiliated with the UAE occupation, which controls occupied Aden, threatened on Tuesday to target mercenary Ahmed Obaid bin Daghr, who was appointed head of the so-called National Coalition of National Political Parties, led by Islah.

Mercenary leader in the Transitional Council Nizar Haytham launched an unprecedented and fierce attack on bin Daghr, calling him corrupt and a traitor. Haytham stated in press statements that "peoples suffering from corruption like bin Daghr will not remain silent forever," warning that bin Daghr would be held accountable as a "traitor and conspirator," and that external protection would not save him. This is despite Haytham and the Transitional Council leaders being mercenaries and traitors themselves.

Haytham’s statements carried an explicit threat of assassination against bin Daghr, indicating that the Transitional Council is considering using the assassination card against mercenaries and collaborators aligned with Saudi Arabia in the occupied city of Aden, the main stronghold of the UAE occupation's mercenaries. This could lead to widespread conflicts between the aggressor nations through their mercenary tools. These conflicts occur amid the suffering of civilians in Aden and other occupied areas, where they face severe economic hardships, including the collapse of the currency, with the dollar reaching over 2,000 riyals.
