The report added, "Although no one speaks about this openly, the regional coordination led by the United States with Israel, Jordan, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia has effectively become a form of de facto defense agreement. As the threat of drones launched from Iraq and Yemen increases, dialogue between the parties has intensified."
The report noted that "the Israeli military was forced to stretch to its limits during the last war in defending against missiles and drones across the entire country."
The website quoted Lieutenant Colonel Tal, the commander of the Israeli missile ship Eilat, as saying, "The interception mission is truly the complex part, identifying a needle in a haystack; these are very small targets moving in the air." He pointed out that "the extension of Eilat city itself poses very complex challenges."
He added, "This is not an open sea but a gulf with four countries—Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt—and discretion must be exercised regarding the proper location for intercepting the threat without harming civilians, ships, or aircraft."
The website noted that "when a drone is detected by one of the radar systems (aerial or ground-based), all relevant parties are immediately involved: the air force, navy, and home front command, and the suspicious target is marked on screens to establish a common language among all parties to prevent confusion."
The report continued, "From a regional perspective, this activity is synchronized with all other relevant entities operating in the region, and practically, though it is not publicly discussed, 'Israel' also provides an aerial defense umbrella in the Gulf of Aqaba and the Red Sea for neighboring countries near Eilat."
According to the report, the central entity leading these regional efforts is "the U.S. Central Command, based in Bahrain and Qatar, which monitors the skies across the Middle East using information provided by radar systems in Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the Gulf states," as reported by the website.
The report described the Saudi, Jordanian, and Egyptian cooperation as a "regional defense alliance that none of the partners discuss," noting that this alliance became evident when neighboring countries of Israel cooperated in intercepting Iranian missile attacks during the first and second "Operation True Promise."
In previous speeches, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi has revealed that several Arab countries have been involved in intercepting Yemeni missiles and drones launched toward occupied territories in defense of Israel and under U.S. directives.
