Key Incidents:
November 11, 2015: The coalition destroyed Sa'adah University’s College of Education and student housing, rendering buildings unusable and displacing many students. Images of scattered classroom furniture, equipment, and educational materials reflected the attack's brutality. A university member lamented the destruction of dreams and futures.
November 11, 2018: An airstrike on a home in Sa'adah’s Al-Maqna area left children terrified and families grieving. Residents voiced frustration at international inaction and denounced Saudi Arabia’s exemption from the UN blacklist despite evidence of child casualties in Yemen.
November 11, 2015: Coalition airstrikes on the Tihama Cement Factory caused millions in damages, left workers jobless, and disrupted hundreds of families' livelihoods.
November 11, 2016: In Naham, a US-Saudi airstrike using internationally banned cluster munitions turned fields into minefields, endangering residents’ lives and damaging homes and farmland. Locals expressed fear for their safety amid undetonated explosives.
November 11, 2016: An airstrike on Al-Jah in Hodeidah killed three people and injured two, generating widespread panic among residents and forcing families to flee.
November 11, 2017: A series of attacks on fishing boats near Hodeidah's Al-Badi Island killed eight fishermen and injured eight others. The bombing destroyed fishing boats and left many families without income.
November 11, 2017: In Sana’a, airstrikes targeted residential neighborhoods, damaging markets, shops, and homes, causing panic among schoolchildren and residents.
November 11, 2021: In Sana’a’s Al-Nahda neighborhood, airstrikes left homes in ruins and caused mass displacement. Families fled to find shelter in mosques and schools, struggling with shortages of water, food, and essential services.
These tragic incidents, targeting Yemeni civilians and infrastructure, have not spurred action from the international community, which remains largely silent.
