News - Yemen: The Yemeni Shura Council praised the ongoing operations of the Yemeni Armed Forces within occupied Palestinian territories, specifically highlighting the recent strike on the Nahal Sorek military base southeast of occupied Jaffa, achieved with a hypersonic ballistic missile named Palestine-2.

In a statement on Monday, the council emphasized that this operation demonstrates the Yemeni Armed Forces' commitment to the directives from Yemen’s revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council, advancing the fifth phase of escalation in support of the Palestinian and Lebanese causes.

The council lauded the resilience of Palestinian and Lebanese resistance forces and commended the impactful operations of the Resistance Axis, which continue to deal significant blows to the Zionist forces.

The statement reiterated support for Yemeni Armed Forces operations targeting Zionist-linked vessels until Israel halts its aggression and genocidal actions against Palestine and Lebanon.

The Shura Council condemned recent airstrikes on Sana’a and other regions by the "evil triad"—the United States, Britain, and Israel—asserting that such actions will not weaken Yemen's steadfast support for the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples.

Additionally, the council criticized resolutions from recent Arab and international meetings, which have failed to help the Palestinian and Lebanese people, allowing the Zionist entity to persist in its crimes.

The Shura Council urged the international community, humanitarian organizations, and human rights groups to take firm action against the ongoing massacres by Zionist forces in Gaza and Lebanon, labeling them as war crimes against humanity.

On Monday, the Yemeni Armed Forces confirmed a targeted strike on the Nahal Sorek military base southeast of Jaffa in occupied Palestine, using a "Palestine-2" hypersonic missile. Armed Forces spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e stated that the precise strike caused a fire near the targeted site.

The Armed Forces reiterated that these operations are part of the fifth escalation phase in support of Palestine and Lebanon, and they will continue until the blockade on Gaza and aggression in Lebanon cease.
