News - Yemen: Prime Minister Ahmed Ghalib Al-Rahwi praised the sacrifices of martyrs from the Ministry of Interior, emphasizing their role in defending Yemen’s dignity, sovereignty, and stability, as well as upholding the pride and honor of its people.

Al-Rahwi's remarks came during his speech on Saturday while participating in the central event organized by the Ministry of Interior to commemorate the annual Martyr's Commemoration.

He noted that the security and stability Yemen enjoys today is, above all, a blessing from Allah and a result of the martyrs' ultimate sacrifices in establishing and maintaining peace. Al-Rahwi also highlighted the notable achievements of Yemen’s security forces, which are evident in their crime prevention efforts, apprehension of offenders, and the successes realized in ensuring public safety.

The Government of Change and Development, in collaboration with the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families, officially launched the annual Martyr's Commemoration Week for this year this week, under the slogan: “The sacrifices of the martyrs have borne fruits of pride, victory, and strength.”

The celebration of the Martyr’s Annual Commemoration is an important occasion to highlight the greatness of the martyrs, their esteemed status, and their sacrifices and heroic deeds in defending the nation, its sovereignty, and independence.
