News - Yemen: A 14-year-old boy, Yahya Mohammed Mashhoor, was seriously injured on Monday when a remnant of US-Saudi aggression exploded near the old Al-Taif market in Al-Durayhimi District, Hodeidah Governorate.

According to Almasirah Net, Yahya, from Al-Qaza village, sustained fractures in his right leg and severe abdominal and head injuries due to the explosion of a remnant of the aggression near the old Al-Taif market.

Cluster bombs and remnants from the US-Saudi aggression continue to threaten various regions across Yemen, particularly near farms and roads, resulting in numerous civilian casualties. Over 25,000 civilians have fallen victim to cluster munitions since the conflict began.

Nine Yemeni governorates have reportedly been targeted with over 2,500 cluster bomb raids, including US CBU-87 bombs, British BL755 bombs, and Brazilian ASTROS II bombs. These internationally banned weapons, featuring destructive, phosphorous, and piercing designs, persist as a danger to residents, especially in farming and road-adjacent areas.
