News - Yemen: Oman's Grand Mufti, Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al-Khalili, commended Yemen and the broader Resistance Axis for their steadfast efforts in confronting the Zionist entity and supporting the Palestinian cause.

In a statement, the Grand Mufti highlighted the unity of efforts to resist the usurping entity and its supporters. He praised the resilience of Gaza’s people, describing their actions as pivotal in countering the Zionist crimes that oppress the free citizens of Gaza.

"The people of truth and jihad in Gaza have taken steps to thwart the crimes of the criminals (the Zionists), who act in ways that tighten the noose around the free citizens of Gaza, thereby serving the occupying Zionist entity," he said.

He also lauded Hezbollah in Lebanon for its unwavering determination and strength in facing the Zionist regime, emphasizing its solidarity with Gaza's mujahideen.

"Hezbollah in free Lebanon has stripped itself of all restraints to confront the usurping entity with determination and strength, rejecting any compromise on severing ties between them and their fellow mujahideen in Gaza."

Yemen has declared open support for Palestine’s struggle against the Israeli occupation since the regime launched a devastating war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, after the territory’s Palestinian resistance movements carried out Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have said they will not stop their attacks until Israel’s ground and aerial offensives in Gaza end.

So far, Israel has killed at least 43,985 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured 104,092 others in Gaza.
