News - Yemen: A Moroccan politician on Saturday praised the honorable and impactful role of the Yemeni Armed Forces in supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza.

Mohammed Al-Ghafri, coordinator of the Moroccan Front to Support Palestine, expressed pride and admiration for the Yemeni people and their resistance during an interview with Arab Journal. He highlighted the military and economic losses inflicted on the Zionist entity as a direct result of Yemen's solidarity with Gaza.

Al-Ghafri noted that Yemeni naval operations have delivered a significant blow to the Zionist economy and created economic challenges for Western powers supporting the Zionist regime, particularly the United States.

He emphasized Yemen’s success in establishing a balance of power with Zionist and American forces, pointing out that no Israeli or occupation-linked ships have crossed the Red Sea since Yemen's operations began.

The coordinator lauded the bravery and heroism of the Yemeni resistance in the Red Sea, Arabian Sea, and Bab al-Mandab, describing their actions as a monumental addition to the ongoing struggle epitomized by the Al-Aqsa Flood operation.

Al-Ghafri also described Yemen’s military actions as a source of pride for Arabs and freedom-loving people worldwide, showcasing a genuine and practical commitment to resistance in support of Palestine from the frontlines.

Since October 2023, following intensified violence in Gaza, Yemeni forces have launched multiple operations in solidarity with Palestinians, targeting areas in occupied Palestinian territories and intercepting ships believed to be headed toward Israeli-controlled ports. 

The recent operations highlight Yemen’s broader support for Gaza while signaling the potential for further military actions across several regional theaters if their demands are not addressed.
