2015: Over 20 Casualties in Aggression Crimes Across Multiple Provinces
On November 23, 2015, US-Saudi airstrikes struck civilian homes, vehicles, mosques, shops, and infrastructure in Al-Jawf, Sa'adah, Taiz, Sana’a, and Marib provinces. These attacks left 15 martyrs, including children, injured many others, and caused widespread destruction, displacing families and terrifying communities.
Al-Jawf: Ten martyrs from a single family were killed in airstrikes targeting vehicles on a public road in the Al-Lawdh area.
Sa'adah: Strikes targeted a grocery store and a home, killing five people, including a child, injuring others, and displacing several families.
Sana’a: Airstrikes damaged homes, farms, and pastures, killing livestock and displacing families.
2016: 18 Casualties and Infrastructure Damage in Hajja, Sa'adah, and Dhamar
Airstrikes targeted vehicles, farms, and homes, leaving 12 martyrs and six injured in Hajja province alone. Cluster and fragmentation bombs were used in Sa'adah, targeting civilians and farmland, while in Dhamar, airstrikes hit a vocational institute, depriving thousands of students of their right to education.
2017: One Martyr and Destruction Across Multiple Provinces
Explosive remnants from previous attacks killed a civilian in Al-Jawf, while relentless airstrikes in Hodeidah, Sa'adah, and Hajja caused severe damage to homes, farms, and civilian infrastructure, leaving numerous families displaced.
2019: Two Injured Children Amid Violations and Shelling in Sa'adah and Hodeidah
Saudi shelling in Sa'adah injured two children, while coalition forces targeted Hodeidah with artillery and Katyusha rockets, igniting fires in farmland and worsening living conditions for civilians.
2021: 13 Casualties in Aggression Strikes on Sa'adah, Sana’a, and Hodeidah
Airstrikes and artillery shelling killed three civilians and injured six others in Sa'adah, including an African migrant. In Sana’a, strikes on residential neighborhoods caused significant damage, and a factory burned down as a result of airstrikes near the Saudi-German Hospital.
The repeated attacks over the years highlight systematic violations of international law, with devastating humanitarian consequences for the Yemeni population.
