World: Over more than a year of Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip, the United States resorted to using its veto power four times to thwart any resolutions aimed at achieving a ceasefire in Gaza.

The US uses the veto in favor of "Israel" openly, in full view of the world, effectively turning the veto into a license to kill more women, children, and civilians.

Previously, the US has used its veto 49 times against UN Security Council resolutions related to the occupation, beginning in 1970. In recent years, it has continued this trend, vetoing resolutions concerning Palestine, such as rejecting the 2017 resolution on Al-Quds, the 2018 resolution against the use of force in Gaza, and blocking ceasefire calls in Gaza in 2023. This highlights its consistent support and active participation in the conflict, both militarily and politically.

In this regard, Ali Al-Dailami, former Minister of Human Rights, stated that "the United States declares to the world that it is above the law and humanity itself. It positions itself as the leader of global criminality, the largest violator of international humanitarian law, and the only state rebelling against the International Criminal Court, disregarding both humanity and human values."

Al-Dailami told Al-Masirah: "From a humanitarian perspective, the US clearly shows that it does not care about the killing of children and women, treating such acts as routine, done with its explicit approval." He continued: "Legally, the US considers itself exempt from abiding by international humanitarian law, UN directives, or any legal frameworks."

He emphasized that the US judges guilt or innocence based on its imperialistic standards, ignoring ethical norms altogether. The most heinous unpunished crimes globally were committed by the US, whether directly or through proxies like in Palestine.

Al-Dailami added that the US's use of the veto signals its indifference to global opinion, acting as if it can rewrite history with fabricated narratives, portraying itself as the "mother of humanity."

He stressed the importance of exposing US and Zionist crimes and finding means to resist American tyranny across the Arab and Islamic world and beyond, describing the US as the "mother of all criminality."

On the same topic, writer, activist, and human rights advocate Sanad Al-Sayyadi stated that America’s use of the veto in favor of Israel reaffirms the Qur’anic methodology revived by the martyr Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, who highlighted the deep-rooted relationship between America and Israel.

Al-Sayyadi told Al-Masirah: "This relationship stems from the unity of their project—tyranny and arrogance—and cannot be separated despite differences in labels or geography. Israel is nothing more than an advanced operations room for the Zionist project that governs the US, Western countries, and many global systems."

He referred to statements by Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, who often asserts that "those who accept the US also accept Israel. This insight, grounded in a Qur’anic understanding of events, reflects reality." Al-Sayyadi noted that recent developments confirm that America and Israel are the same.

Al-Sayyadi concluded that "the unwavering American support for the Zionist entity exposes America's true nature as the 'greatest devil,' orchestrating crimes and atrocities worldwide. Without US backing and domination over the UN, Security Council, and global systems, the Zionist entity would not have survived on occupied land."

He emphasized that the liberation of nations does not lie in negotiations, UN resolutions, or international legality but in the equation created by resistance fighters on the battlefield—a single viable path to victory and the salvation of the Islamic nation, by Allah’s help and promise.
