During its weekly meeting, chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister and Committee Chairman, Allama Muhammad Muftah, the committee decried the Arab and Islamic silence regarding Israel's severe violations of Syrian territory and sovereignty, coinciding with the enemy's criminal expansion in Syria.
The committee called on the United Nations and international organizations to denounce Israel's aggression against Syria and take punitive measures against the Israeli regime for its violations and territorial expansion, which are prohibited under international laws and conventions.
The committee reiterated its strong condemnation of the ongoing daily massacres by the Israeli enemy against Gaza residents and its policy of starvation, which contravenes all norms, laws, and international treaties.
It praised the steadfastness of Gaza’s people on their land despite the brutal Israeli aggression and starvation policies, as well as the effective military operations by resistance factions against Israeli forces and their equipment.
The committee also commended the successful operation carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces using missiles and drones targeting US supply ships and two accompanying destroyers in the Gulf of Aden.
The importance of these operations, it noted, lies in their timing—within ten days of another operation targeting US supply ships and destroyers, alongside an attack on Tuesday targeting military sites in Jaffa and Ashkelon”using drones.
The committee also blessed the joint operation conducted by the Yemeni Armed Forces and the Islamic Resistance in Iraq earlier this week, which targeted a critical site in southern occupied Palestine with drones, as well as the attack on a sensitive location in Yavne in Ashdod, south of Jaffa in occupied Palestine.
During the meeting, the committee discussed the latest developments related to supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza and reviewed a report highlighting significant progress in mobilization efforts and public support for Gaza in Sana’a and other provinces, particularly Dhamar.
The committee also reviewed progress in the boycott campaigns and intellectual and cultural awareness efforts in schools, universities, and institutes, emphasizing the importance of understanding the boycott as a weapon and recognizing the broader dimensions of the conflict with Israel. It underlined Yemen’s vital role in supporting Gaza, the Palestinian resistance, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Palestinian cause overall.
The committee expressed high appreciation for the success of the mobilization, boycott, and awareness campaigns, particularly the remarkable efforts in Dhamar province.
The committee also discussed developments in the occupied Arab territories, focusing on the continued brutal aggression against Gaza and the starvation policies that have led to death, as well as the support operations by the Yemeni Armed Forces targeting vital Israeli sites in occupied Palestine and U.S. supply ships and destroyers.
It approved the organizational program for a mass rally to be held at Al-Sabeen Square on Friday afternoon, along with similar marches in various provinces and districts, under the slogan: "Steadfast with Gaza, Continuing the Fight Against the US-Israeli Agenda."
The committee viewed the massive participation in these rallies as a global message that the Yemeni people will never tire or waver in supporting the oppressed, even when abandoned by those nearby and far away.
An Israeli military incursion into southern Syria has reached about 25 kilometers (16 miles) southwest of the capital Damascus, two regional security sources and one Syrian security source said.
The Syrian security source says Israeli occupation forces reached Qatana, which is 10 kilometers (6 miles) into Syrian territory, east of the buffer zone.
Tuesday’s strikes followed a speech by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who said in a press conference on Monday that the illegally occupied Golan Heights will “forever be an inseparable part” of the Zionist entity.
Earlier on Sunday, the Israeli enemy occupied Jabal Al-Sheikh (Mount Hermon) near the Golan Heights. The aggression came following the fall of President Bashar Al-Assad’s government after an armed opposition, led by Hayaat Tahrir Al-Sham, entered the capital Damascus early on Sunday.
