According to the agencies, they recently arrested several spies recruited through the wanted fugitive Hamid Hussein Faid Mujalli. These individuals were tasked with various intelligence activities following their recruitment.
The exposed activities included monitoring and identifying sites belonging to Yemen’s missile forces, drone operations, naval forces, and other military locations. Additionally, the spies were instructed to track and pinpoint the movements of revolutionary, political, military, and security leaders, as well as prominent social figures opposing Israeli and American agendas within Yemen.
Further details revealed that the espionage network gathered information about experts, laboratories, missile platforms, and drone launch vehicles used in strikes targeting the Zionist enemy. It also tracked the locations of naval forces, military camps, and weapons depots of the Yemeni Armed Forces. Among their objectives was the attempt to uncover the whereabouts of the leader of the revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Badreddin al-Houthi.
The spies transmitted these coordinates to Hamid Mujalli, who relayed them to Mossad for potential targeting by American, Israeli, and British aircraft. The operations also aimed to infiltrate Yemen’s Armed Forces and security institutions by recruiting and planting additional agents.
Yemen’s security agencies have pledged to continue protecting the nation from such infiltration attempts, warning of severe consequences for collaborating with foreign intelligence agencies, including the possibility of capital punishment.
The agencies called on anyone involved with US or Israeli intelligence to immediately surrender, emphasizing that Yemeni security forces are capable of apprehending traitors wherever they may hide.
The security agencies also expressed their gratitude to citizens who cooperated in exposing the network, urging the public to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities.
Once investigations are concluded, the agencies promised to declassify and reveal further details about the network and its operations.
In recent weeks, Israel has been subjected to a series of devastating missile attacks from Yemen, causing millions of dollars in damages to vital facilities in occupied cities in support for Palestine’s struggle against occupation.
Israeli enemy's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that he would respond forcefully to these strikes, but the level of force depends, according to The Jerusalem Post, on the recommendations from Israeli security agencies, primarily Mossad and military intelligence.
In a video statement issued after a meeting of his security cabinet in the occupied town of Safed, Netanyahu stressed that Israel was not alone in operating against Yemen, pointing to repeated strikes carried out by American and British forces over the past year.
