News - Yemen: The leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi hailed the major Yemeni operation during the confrontation and clash with the American aircraft carrier (USS Harry Truman).

The leader said in a speech today, Thursday, that the Yemeni naval operations against the Israeli enemy and its American and British partners, and what is happening is a prevention of their ships only and not for other countries. 

He explained that the British maritime security company admitted that the Yemeni operations target US, UK and Israeli ships , and that those who talk about threatening global navigation are justifying their standing with the Israeli and American.

Sayyed Abdulmalik described the operation targeting the Truman carrier as "large, great and very important", indicating that this targeting occurred in conjunction with the American's attempt to carry out a major aggressive operation against our country to target a number of Yemeni governorates. He added that the carrier approached a specific distance to the extent that would help it carry out the aggressive operation against our country.

He pointed out that the Americans failed to carry out the aggression against our country that they had prepared for, and it was limited to some bombing operations, which resulted in the martyrdom of a number of people. 

He also explained that targeting the aircraft carrier "Truman" is the fourth operation to target US carriers, and it is a bold and powerful important operation, and that since World War II until now, no one in the world has dared to carry out a bold operation targeting American aircraft carriers.”

The leader noted that targeting the aircraft carrier "Truman" resulted in the downing of an American "F18" aircraft, which is one of the most important and expensive American aircraft.

Sayyed Abdulmalik added that when the Americans say that they shot down an "F18" aircraft by suspicion and mistake, it expresses a state of failure, helplessness and great confusion, noting that targeting the aircraft carrier "Truman" continued throughout the night from nine o'clock in the evening until near dawn.

He pointed out that Western reports and analyses confirm that targeting the aircraft carrier has changed the concepts and tactics of naval warfare forever, stressing that aircraft carriers no longer express deterrence and that "Truman" has now fled to a range beyond 1,500 km from Yemeni ports.

The Leader considered that the American enemy's excuses for shooting down the plane are shameful, and that the American is in a state of great confusion and is seeking help from others and is keen to involve others in the aggression against our country.

“Whoever pins hopes on the American is delusional," he said.

He added that this million-man march comes "in response to God Almighty and based on trust in God and a sense of responsibility and loyalty to the Palestinian people and their injustice."

The Leader praised the steadfastness of the Yemeni people, saying: "Our people today astonished the world and surprised the enemies with their great steadfastness, with the advantage of their effective, continuous and strong movement."

He also pointed to the importance of the popular march last week, saying: "The great, broad, large and important popular march last week has great significance after the Israeli aggression on our country."

He stressed that this march "challenged the Israelis in word and deed."
