News - Middle East: The Israeli occupation forces committed three new massacres over the past 24 hours against Palestinian families and displaced persons in the Gaza Strip, resulting in dozens of casualties, the majority of whom were women and children.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported in its daily statistical bulletin on Monday that Gaza hospitals have received 27 martyrs and 149 injured individuals due to the latest atrocities by the occupation.

The Ministry also noted that several victims remain under the rubble or in the streets, as rescue and civil defense teams are unable to reach them.

The death toll from the ongoing Israeli military aggression on Gaza, now in its 451st consecutive day, has risen to 45,541 martyrs, in addition to 108,338 injured with varying degrees of severity since October 7, 2023.

Since the Israeli regime imposed a stifling blockade on Gaza, the territory's estimated 2.3 million residents have endured severe shortages of electricity, drinkable water, food, medical services, and especially fuel for basic survival needs.

The Gaza Health Ministry said the number of Palestinian deaths due to hypothermia has risen to seven.

People in Gaza are freezing and shaking because of the very cold weather. Particularly, the ones in tents in al-Mawasi, which is very close to the beach, are intensely suffering from the cold wave gripping the region, it said.
