News - Yemen: The Mufti of Yemen, Sayyed Al-Allama Shams Al-Din Sharaf Al-Din, pointed out that the United States, which many countries fear, is now fleeing from the Yemeni fighters. He affirmed that the Yemeni people are fulfilling their religious duty by standing in solidarity with Gaza.

Sayyed Shams Al-Din explained that millions of Yemenis gather in public squares every week, defying the enemies of Allah, and expressing unwavering support for Gaza. He emphasized that these gatherings and demonstrations are acts of jihad in the path of Allah.

"The people of our nation must not neglect their duty to attend these gatherings or to contribute financially in the way of Allah—whether for missile forces, drone aviation, or other needs," Mufti Shams Al-Din stated.

He further stressed that those who fail to prepare for jihad in the way of Allah are negligent and fail to recognize the gravity of the situation. He praised the bravery of the Palestinian resistance fighters, highlighting their role as the primary vanguard in confronting the Zionist entity.

Mufti Shams Al-Din also commended scholars and religious leaders who have openly supported Gaza, including the Muftis of Oman and Libya. He called on scholars across the Islamic world to feel their responsibility before Allah, place their trust in Him, and take decisive action to support Gaza.

He noted that America, which many nations fear, is now retreating before the determination of Yemeni fighters. Highlighting the Israeli enemy’s destruction of Syrian weapons and capabilities, Mufti Shams Al-Din urged all who claim to uphold religion to take a clear and honorable stance on this issue.

Since Israel began its devastating war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, Yemen has openly expressed support for Palestine’s resistance against the Israeli occupation. The ongoing aggression in Gaza has claimed the lives of over 46,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children.

In addition to missile strikes, Yemen has also targeted ships linked to Israel, the United States, and the United Kingdom, aiming to force an end to the Tel Aviv regime’s genocidal war on Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have vowed to continue their attacks until Israel halts its ground and aerial offensives in Gaza.
