News - Middle East - Palestine: The Shura Council condemned in the strongest terms Zionist occupation forces stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and their blatant assault on worshipers, which led to the injury of more than 200 people.

It considered in statement that brutal Zionist terrorism in light of shameful international silence, provocation to the feelings of millions Muslims around world and violation of human rights and international covenants.

It also condemned the decision of Israeli occupation authorities to displace the residents of Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and force 500 residents to remain without shelter after confiscating their homes by force and coercion.

It indicated that this is Zionist step on the road to completely Judaizing Jerusalem and continuation the policy of forced displacement Palestinians, and flagrant violation of international law.

The statement emphasized that Palestine will remain in the conscience of  Arab and Islamic nation and will remain the first and central issue and the compass of the supreme struggle.

It pointed out that these attacks would not have happened had it not been for the disillusionment of some Arab regimes towards the issue of Palestine and as  result of the normalization steps that those regimes practiced, secretly and openly, under the leadership of the coalition of aggression against Yemen.

The Shura Council urged all Palestinian factions to promptly unify ranks, end the division, and give priority to the supreme national interest, as the Palestinian issue is at dangerous historical turning point.

It stressed that this requires the Arab and Islamic nation to stand up for Jerusalem, and to mobilize all energies and capabilities for his free, proud return, and it also requires urgent international action to stop these attacks.
