News - Middle East - Bahrain: Number of Bahraini citizens took part in popular rallies in support of Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque on Monday.

The participants affirmed their positions in support of Al-Quds and its people, and their full support for the ongoing revolution of Al-Quds people.

The Bahrainis raised slogans of solidarity with Palestine and Al-Aqsa and the Palestinian flag, stressing the need to unite to confront the occupation's attacks against Jerusalemites and those stationed in Al-Aqsa.

Hundreds of Bahrainis had protested, despite tight security measures, during the past few days, in solidarity rallies with Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa, condemning the occupation's attacks and the normalization measures.

Palestinian resistance factions launched ‘Operation Sword of al-Quds’ early Tuesday in retaliation for the Israeli regime’s acts of aggression against Palestinians in al-Quds, saying their goal is to liberate the holy city from Israeli occupation.

The factions operating under the Joint Operations Room announced in a statement that resistance fighters have fired hundreds of rockets towards the occupied territories as part of the operation.

The rocket fire was in retaliation for the Tel Aviv regime’s raids on al-Aqsa Mosque and Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, they said.
