News - Yemen: Yemen’s Ministry of Public Health and Population condemned the war crime of bombing civilians in Damt district of Al-Dhalae governorate. 

The mercenaries of the US-Saudi aggression on Monday targeted a gathering of travelers in Al-Arafaf area, injuring 17 civilians, including women and children, some of them seriously.

The ministry's spokesman Dr. Najeeb Al-Qubati considered in a statement this crime as part of a series of crimes and violations committed by the US-Saudi aggression against the Yemeni people for more than six years, in full view of the world.

Al-Qubati stressed that the targeting, escalation and direct bombardment by mercenaries of residential areas and civilian objects is an indication of the coalition's disregard for the lives of civilians. “It expresses the coalition's insistence on killing civilians in light of the silence of the United Nations, which pays lip service to human rights.”

He called on the United Nations, the Security Council and human rights organizations to assume their responsibility in pressing to stop the crimes of aggression and mercenaries against civilians of the Yemeni people.
