News-Middle East : On Monday, Military Media release some scenes of a number of Saudi Army troops and Sudanese mercenaries who were captured during the recent military operation in Jizan.

A number of those captured gave their names, military numbers and military unit they are affiliated with.

The prisoners talked about the good treatment they received during the period of captivity with their Yemeni brothers, and they sent a messages of reassurance to their families and relatives who have been cut off from them since their captivity.

The prisoners appealed to Saudi leadership to work to get them out of captivity and return them to their families, calling at the same time to stop the unjust war on Yemeni people.

It is noteworthy that military media had revealed during the past few days a large-scale military operation of the Yemeni army in Jizan, which ended with gaining control of a large number of Saudi military sites, killing and capturing a large number of Saudi Army forces, Sudanese and Yemeni mercenaries, and seizing large military equipment.

The Yemeni Army and Popular Committees took control of an area of   more than 150 square kilometers on the Jizan front with a qualitative military operation from three main tracks.
 
A military source indicated that the Army launched a large-scale attack on the Saudi army positions in Jizan from the axis of Al-Khouba and Wadi Gary. The MBC mountain sites, Tabab Al-Fadhia, Al-Tabba Al-Bayda, Al-Qambora, Al-Amoud, Tawaleq and Sharq Qaim Sayab, were controlled.
 
The military source confirmed that over 80 officers and soldiers of the Saudi army and Sudanese mercenaries were killed, and 29 armored vehicles and military vehicles were destroyed and burned.
 
He pointed out that the areas controlled by the Army and the Popular Committees were subject to joint Saudi forces, Sudanese and Yemeni mercenaries control from the so-called "Commando Brigade."
