Ammar Al-Adari, the Executive Director of the company, pointed to the continued piracy of fuel tankers in the Red Sea by the US-Saudi aggression, preventing them from reaching the port of Hodeidah and detaining them despite obtaining entry permits from the United Nations.
The Executive Director confirmed in a press statement Thursday that the Red Sea pirates continue to practice sea piracy on fuel tankers amid the world’s silence.
He considered that the silence of the United Nations, which does not move a finger in the suffering of the Yemeni people, is one of the main reasons that made the coalition continue its arbitrary practices in detaining fuel tankers and preventing their entry to the port of Hodeidah.
The US-led aggression coalition had seized a new tanker, "Sea Helios", carrying 25,000 tons of diesel, despite obtaining UN entry permits.
According to the company, the forces of the US-Saudi aggression are still holding four fuel tankers, including a tanker carrying diesel, and three other tankers with a total tonnage of (91,640) tons of gasoline and diesel, for more than nine months.
