News - Yemen: The Ministry of Human Rights held the United Nations and its bodies and organizations operating in Yemen responsible for the criminal escalation of the US-Saudi aggression and its terrorist practices against the Yemeni people, their property and service facilities.

The Ministry indicated, in a statement, that the continuation of the aggression coalition countries to target civilians and civilian objects in various governorates confirms that they do not want to bring peace and security to Yemen or the region.

The statement mentioned the escalation of the military aggression and its air raids resulted in casualties among civilians and the destruction of civilian objects, the latest of which was in Maqbna in Taiz and the districts of Munabbih, Shida and Al-Zahir in Sa’adah, and the Al-Nahda and Al-Anab neighborhoods in Sana’a.

The Ministry stressed that the continuation of the aggression countries' crimes and their siege of the Yemeni people is a flagrant violation of all international laws, resolutions and treaties.

It renewed its demand for the United Nations and the Security Council to maintain international peace and security from any threats that destabilize the security of the whole world. It urged it to work to activate the provisions related to respecting national sovereignty and diplomatic relations between countries, protecting Yemen and its people from any violations, and stopping all forms of aggression and systematic siege.

Saudi Arabia has upped the ante in the war on Yemen by conducting a new round of airstrikes targeting various areas across the crisis-hit country, as Riyadh and its regional allies forge ahead with their devastating war and brutal siege against the Yemeni people.
